Go to Rome and report me to Pope, he (Pope) will clap for me – Ejike tells APC

Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka, the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, has called on the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to go ahead and report him to Pope.

The APC had threatened to report Mbaka to Pope over his recently position on the government of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mbaka who was Buhari’s strong supporter had called for his resignation or impeachment following the spate of killings around the country and his silence.

His statement was vehmently criticized by the APC who asked him to leave politics and face his ministry and also threatened to report him to Pope.

Reacting on May 2, 2021, during Sunday Service, Mbaka said that the Pope would even give him accolades when he hears that he is criticising a bad government.

“The pope will clap for me if he hears that I am challenging a bad government in Nigeria. So, the APC can go ahead and report me to him.

“The Pope may even give me a position I may not want to handle,” he said.
