Few days after Asari Dokubo declared the establishment of Biafra Government, Sunday Igboho declares Yoruba nation secession from Nigeria

Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly called Sunday Igboho

Popular Yoruba activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo (aka Sunday Igboho), has declared his support for the secession of the Yoruba nation.

Sunday Igboho who few months ago issued an ultimatum to criminal herdsmen in the South-West region, said that the Federal Government under the supreme control of Northerners is sidelining the Yoruba ethnic group in terms of appointments in Nigeria.

Similar position was given by former Niger Delta militant leader, Alhaji Asari Dokubo, who last week declared a Biafra Government over the marginalization of the Igbo nation.

He further noted that the Yoruba is ready for any attack against them by security agents.

“Starting from now, we don’t want herdsmen in our land to disturb our farms again. If we meet any killer herdsmen, we are going to face and destroy them.

“If any police attack us for that, we are ready for them. We don’t want Nigeria again but the Yoruba nation. There is no essence for one Nigeria when the major resources in the country are in the hands of the northerners.

“Enough is enough. There is no going back… We are not scared of anybody. These killer herders are taking over our land and they are killing our people,” he said.

According to Sunday Igboho, his determination to liberate the Yoruba nation from Nigeria is supported by monarchs and elder in the South-West region.
