In its own statement, the IPOB leadership led by its principal officers, Benjamin Madubugwu, asked Ohanaeze to help in working towards the nullification of the proscribing of IPOB, saying that IPOB is not a terrorist organization.

“IPOB is not a terrorist organisation, it was given a bad name in order to hang it,” Madubugwu said.
