Bernard Simon, the man who killed naval commander in Jaji

The Nigeria Police on Wednesday paraded Bernard Simon, the man who allegedly killed Oluwayemisi Ogundana, a female Naval Commander, around Jaji area of Kaduna State.

Ogundana who was the Commandant of the Command Secondary School of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, was murdered in September.

36 year old Simon who did not deny the crime revealed that he sneaked into her home at Jaji Military Cantonment where he hit her with an iron rod on the head.

“I killed Commander Ogundana alone. I sneaked into her house in the evening and hit her on the head with an iron rod,” he said.

Simon however denied accusation that he raped her to death as alleged by the Kaduna State Police Commissioner, Ali Janga.

According to him, he killed Ogundana because she was fond of cheating people who works under her.

“I killed her because she was cheating us in the school. I am a teacher in the school and she was cheating us. I killed her to set the whole staff of the school free from her,” he added.

Simon further noted that after killing her, he dismembered her body into Ghana-must-go bags and moved her parts with her SUV from Jaji to the location where he dumped the bags into a shallow well.

“There are some financial benefits she deprived us of. She denied me N100,000. That is why I killed her to set myself and other staff free from her,” he alleged.
