Faleke declares support for Yahaya Bello

James Faleke, a former running mate to late Abubakar Audu, has declared his support for Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State ahead of the forthcoming November governorship poll in the state.

Faleke battled for the governorship position following the death of Audu. He claimed that he was supposed to inherit the votes since there were for him and Audu. Bello who came second in the party’s primary election however inherited Audu’s votes and eventually became governor.

“We have put all issues in the past and now, we will be in a better position to always assist and advise the party and government in the state to execute people friendly programmes,” he said.

“No ethnic group has the monopoly to rule Nigeria” – Bakare says

Pastor Tunde Bakare, the General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly, who recently declared that he would become the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria after President Muhammadu Buhari, has said that no ethnic group has the monopoly to rule Nigeria.

Bakare noted that he detested it when people say people from certain ethnic group cannot be trusted with power.

Mrs. Beauty Siasia, the mother of former Super Eagles player and coach who was recently released by kidnapper who abducted her for months, reveals that her abductors prays a lot and also do juju.

Mrs Beauty who was held for 77 days said that the kidnappers prayed a lot even though they had charms around their bodies and carried guns. She noted that she was sick with high blood pressure, but they took care of her and bought her drugs.

11 soldiers, 15 civilians killed, 2 soldiers missing, 14 injured in Boko Haram attack

A recent report by Premium Times reveals that the Boko Haram terrorist group gruesomely attacked and killed 11 soldiers and wounded over 14. 2 soldiers were also declared missing after the attack on Thursday morning. Apart from soldiers, at least 15 civilians were also killed in the gruesome attack.

The heroes fell when the sect ambushed and attacked their military convoy in Borno State on October 3. The soldiers of the 154 Task Force Battalion were on patrol at the Mauli-Borgozo area of the state when the incident occurred. The terrorist also took away arms and ammunition, including 11 AK-47 rifles and anti-aircraft gun truck.

Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has accused David Cameron, a former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, of lying against him over the abduction of Chibok schoolgirls in 2014.

Cameron had alleged that Jonathan prevented the UK from rescuing the girls.

Jonathan however denied the statement, saying that Cameron was deliberately coming after him because he refused to support his gay agenda. Read more
