Nigeria needs tertiary institutions created to solve our problems – Osinbajo

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday in Lagos while delivering a speech at the First Board Meeting/Fund Raising dinner for the creation of Nigerian University of Technology and Management, said that Nigeria needs an institution that addresses the most critical problems in Nigeria.

The Vice-President noted that the country needs an institution that will produce cutting edge Artificial Intelligence applications for education, business, medicine, security etc.

Fake Police Commissioner defrauds senator of N1.8million in Zamfara

The Zamfara State Police Command has arrested a man identified as Ibrahim Mohammed for impersonating the Zamfara Commissioner of Police, Usman Nagogo.

Mohammed was apprehended after he defrauded Senator Lawali Hassan Dan of N1.8million.

Confirming the development, Mohammed Shehu, the spokesman for the Zamfara Police, revealed that the fraudster who is from the Moriki area of Zamfara State, told the senator that he had three slots for cadet ASP and three slots for cadet inspector, urging the lawmaker to pay N2million for the slots. South Africa frustrates efforts to evacuate Nigerians

The South African authorities on Wednesday frustrated efforts to clear over 300 Nigerians who were ready to be evacuated from the country.

The SA authority introduced a new immigration rules which made it difficult to evacuate Nigerians ready to return.

After many hours of delay, only 187 Nigerians were successfully allowed to return home. Read more

Mohammed Adoke, the former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, in his new book, ‘Burden of Service –Reminiscences of Nigeria’s Former Attorney-General’, alleges that the family of Former Head of State, Gen. Sani Abacha, have sympathisers in President Muhammadu Buhari’s government.

The former AGF noted that he ignored tempting offers and forced the Abacha’s to forfeit huge money (about $1billion) hidden away across the country. Read more

    all the money you people have been collecting, we are not still seeing any changes, instead, things get worse for us, 8 years is about to complete and nothing to show for it, please don’t put APC to shame, we don’t want PDP, but if things get worse like this, people will be thinking of going back to PDP, Mail me back if you need a proper advise on make Nigeria youth happy.luckyrabiu3832@gmail.com
