Part of the agreement between the Fulani bandits with the state government was to ensure the release of their brothers captured and the freedom for their people to come out and move freely in the state without being attacked.
Naija Buzz News had reported how the Zamfara State Commissioner of Police asked the leader of the Fulani group in the state to advise his people to surrender their weapons since the farmers and vigilantes were already surrendering to ensure the peace dialogue works.
We also published a video showing one of the Fulani bandit leaders who surrendered saying that soldiers cannot defeat them. He noted that they can only surrender out of their free will, but no one can force them to.
