President Muhammadu Buhari will reportedly submit the list of ministerial nominees this week.
It’s been over 5 weeks since the inauguration of President Buhari as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and 5 months since he emerged as the winner of the February 23 Presidential Election.
Senator Ahmed Lawan, the President of the Senate, earlier today revealed that the president would submit the list of his cabinet members to the lawmakers this week.
While speaking at the senate plenary today, Lawan, noted that the Federal Government was working to ensure the list was ready before the lawmakers embark of its annual two-months recess.
The senate president noted that the list would be submitted and the lawmakers would screen the candidates before the annual recess on July 26.
Lawan made the revelation following a point of order raised by Senator Bassey Akpan over the delay in the submission of the list.
