Kano police arrest 3 Boko Haram members

Ahmed Iliyasu, the Kano State Commissioner of Police, has revealed three (3) persons suspected to be members of the Boko Haram terrorist group.

The suspects who were arrested by the Kano State Police Command at different locations were paraded at the command on Friday.

According to the Police Commissioner, one of the suspects was arrested at a hotel in the Sabon Gari area of Kano. He was on his way to Adamawa State, North-East Nigeria when he decided to stopover in Kano where he was eventually arrested.

The remaining two (2) were apprehended at their base in the state.

He further revealed that two of the arrested suspects had since confessed to be members of the deadly group.
